I looked around at posts from the past month or two and didn't see one of these. What's the current year and mileage on your Vibe?I've got a 2003 and just passed 56789. So far it hasn't needed anything more than oil changes and some new tires. It gets treated well though... synthetic oil and premium gas!
19,800 since October 2002. (Yeah, that's not a typo...LOL...I'm a college student and I basically only drive on the weekends and during the summer.) No major issues, just random stuff like maplight bulbs, and the catalytic converter TSB.

2004 with 12,2xx miles. No troubles yet but I have a rattle in the dash that is driving me INSANE, so I might have to give the dealer a call one of these days.
bud_one: Looks like we're winning. Or losing. Depends on your outlook I suppose. I bet I'll have 'ya beat in a month or two though!!So nobody's passed 60k yet?
the way my wife and I drive... no tellin...she goes to Georgia later this month...there's another 2k plus what ever comes up this month...and no problems...
Good to hear you've been having no problems. Since you're a few miles ahead of me it's like looking into the future. I'm about to go on a trip to Jersey and back this weekend. My miles come from work and school every day... 15 miles to work, 45 miles to school, 30 miles back to the house. Plus any extra commuting. Ugh! Fun to drive though, thank god for XM too.

Quote, originally posted by Boxgrover »Doesnt that seem like alot considering it comes from the factory?Out of every x cars produced, one can be selected at random for various tests... It could have been from them running it around the test track, testing on the line, or what not. The lower the odometer reading, the more likely it had a shorter test....My car is about to hit 45,000 miles here in a couple of days... Bought it new (didn't order it, but it was probably sitting on the lot for at least a good month or so) and it had 36 miles on it at that time...

you have to press/release the button to cycle between the two trip meters and odometer, if you press and hold it in, it resets the trip meter that is being displayed.I have 77K, Savoy is the clear leader, I think over 120K miles last report.

purchased Oct. 30th '02 and received her Jan 13th 03 with 32 km ( was preddy mad!). So far, she must have close to 64 000 km, with oil changed at each 5k, octane 91 gaz and annual/semi-annual check up.I had an accident last summer but only had to change hood and bumper, no mecanical parts . Excepting the crack in my windsheild and all the small chunk of paint missing (joy of winters...) everything is nice!
Oh my! 120k? I bow to the mileage god!I was thinking our monotone black 2003 GT was a bit up there at 66k and change - and we didn't even take it out on vacation this year, and we've been driving a hand-down Lexus on the weekends a lot the last few months, so our mileage has slowed down a bit.Received car right early - April 2002? Jeez, that long ago? We've gone through one clutch (loudly complaining at around 30,000 miles) and the original tires left us not long after that... the overhead light in the front gave up a few months ago, and I've been too lazy to do anything about it.... an annoying amount of parking lot dings from wayward doors and idiot meanies, but other than that, I still love my car!Maybe I'll finally put on that set of red/black honu print seatcovers that we bought way back when... and replace the wetsuit ones that are starting to separate from the backing foam... time to sleep now...Mahalo nui,Dawn
just hit 15,500, got it with 87 miles on it, ALMOST a year old.

But like I said, if I was smart. Cause I am just a country boy. From where abouts did you go to school?

I just turned 16k yesterday. I also filled up to check my mileage for the first time and it was just over 30 mpg. I've had the car a week, I'm happy. Wheels and window tinting coming next week.
