vsv help

Post by silvervibeGT »

ok, so my Injen CAI is in but the reason it's not running properly is the vsv, I capped the one valve off, like the directions stated, but now I have an open "tee" and two extra wires that are sucking and pushing air and no idea what to do with them, the directions are not complete in this area. Any ideas gang?

Apparently you don't need the little tubes after installing the CAI. I pulled off all the extra tubing that had dead ends. With a short piece of the tubing (~2") I capped off both nipples heading into the VSV (put one end of the tube on one nipple and then cap the other nipple with the other end of the tube) and tied it off in a safe place. I connected the one-way check valve back to the metal nipple under the throttle body. Everything works well.
