I want to bump this back to the top. There aren't many covered bridges around here. The ones we have are pedestrian only... and mostly on golf courses. You'd probably be hard pressed to find much of *anything* built before 1920, too, let alone a covered bridge. :idea: Perhaps this could help someone...

As runningslow mentioned. If the Grand Am and Sunfire are like siblings, then the Vibe and Corrolla are like fraternal twins raised by different parents. The labor to put in a junkyard transmission is the same as putting in a remanufactured one. So maybe looking at the total cost the remanufactured one is not that much more expensive.
