It did it again...I lossened up the ice yesterday and with help got the wiper going again..This morning it is stuck again..I have a fealing the motor is going on me...I start to not like this car..Firsth the alternator now the wiper and the car is only 3 years old...

This morning seems like my windshiel wiper motor frooz..The wiper arm was off the windshield over night , so it was not froozen to the glass,but still did not work..After half on hour I moved it by hand and sudenly started to work again..Motor or actuater could be froozen ???Any ideas what to do nex...

Sorry Jay I just saw your post...I think two screws are enough ,but I did put two extra screws in each ...

Hello Everyone,Not really sure about this tire pressure sensor...If I get a different rim it might not have a sensor????I am looking for rims but it might be a used one in good shape...Is that something I should install after???What happens if I have no sensor , just a light will be on all the time?...

Hey Alex,Easy job , just be patient...Use two screw driver to slowly pry it off....I did it at night with a flash light...Now when I turn it on in the morning with the remote no lights come on till I put them on...Like to have control over my cars...

Yes , unfortunately you have to shut of the car pull the brakes than turn it back...All my other cars as soon you pull the hand break the lights go out , but not on the Vibe..I do not mind my DRL go on automaticaly because it is a law here in Ontario...

You can manualy control your headligts , but the DRL still work..If you in a drive in you have to shut off the car and pull the hand break in, than you can turn the engine on for heat and everything will be dark..as soon you rerease the hand break the DRL comes on...I tried it ..

If you want to control your headlights manually, there is an easy way to do it...Just pry the sensor out of the dash with two small flathead screwdriver , disconnect it ,seal the end of the connector, push it back partly,tape it together so when you push it back in the dash you do not loose the wire...

I went out and bought a plastic #5 filter tool from Canadian Tire for $6 and just nutched it in four places to fit our filter housing...Toyota wanted $28 for the tool (maybe it was metal)..Unfortunatly the person who change the last filter tighten the **** out of it , so I had to use a hammet and sc...

Ok, I just did it...It toke 10 minutes total...You can pry the sensor out with two small flat head ...Than just disconnect it and put electric tape between connections ..Push them together a litle bit and tape them together before you push the sensor back in place , just incase you ever hook them ba...

What is the part number for the tool or wrench to use to remove oil filter on 2009 Vibe 1.8 ???Next question is , did anybody come up with a mod.. for different filter or adapter to use regular filter on the car???Thanks..

I can not see the security clip, maybe removed by mechanic before me...But I steel can not remove the housing wit my strap wrench, keeps slipping off it...I will check Canadian tire for the cap tool , anybody knows the part number of the tool??? Thanks

I was pretty happy with my 2009 Vibe till not too long ego , than alternater gone of course not 3 years old yet but 4000 km over the warranty period...Next thing is my rear brake has to be replaced , because it is worned out all ready...I did not think a car recomended by soo many , has soo much pro...

Well,I did change the battery , with an old one I had in my garage and everything came back on ...If I check the voltage it shows 12V , and when it is running it is the same..By the way the belt is on ...So I think my alternator gone , because I think it should show about 14V...Of course I have 6500...

My vibe just stalled ,engine light on,vcs light flashing , power steering gone...Battery low and if boosted car starts but agan show battery, engine,vcs ...And powersteering do not work...What hapened???

Thanks CQ358,Oh , and I got the power to the switch from the orange marker or signal lights wiring so I can turn it on or off anytime and it shuts off when I take the key out...So, I can have the fogs on with or with out the low beam ,or with the high beam...

I will post a cpl pictures later on tonight...By the way the fog light rocker switch gives out just enough light so I can see the switches on the door in the dark...So that problem is solved too...LOL..
