Nice, another clean well maintained ride. Paint is a small problem, unless it starts to develop an issue with the clear coat. At least you won't have to face the northern salt/rust issues.

Very nice. I noticed when replacing the intake manifold gasket how much blow by collected in the intake manifold. This would have helped prevent the oil issue, plus kept oil off the intake gasket, which may have extended the gaskets life.

This article should help with setup and wiring routes. Instead of placing the lights in the door, just add them to your foot wells. To add them to the backseat area, can extend the wiring under the center console, makes an easy mounting point. http://forums.genvibe.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=18&...

Do you have a picture of the affected pad? Almost looks like something was trapped on the pad causing uneven wear. Occurring multiple times on the same side with roughly the same pattern is odd.

Their is room inside the bottom of the door to mount the crossovers, if they are waterproof. Rain runs down the outside of the door window and drips inside the door. you can mount them to the part of the door facing the occupants, by checking fit between the panel and the plastic door skin.
