The regular cat or the pre-cat? I know that a lot of MRS/MR2 guys with the 1zz-fe empty out the pre-cat in the exhaust manifold/extractors. Reason being that the valve overlap used in these engines to pull exhaust gasses back into the combustion chamber to further burn any leftover junk, sometimes t...

Good How to! but im curious, have you tried resetting the TPMS in your summers? IIRC the 03-08 vibes dont use sensors in the wheels but rely on part of the ABS system. anyone with more info feel free to chime in.

There are 2 different Throttle body spacers, I believe the one shown on the Poor Man's Guide is for the 03-05 with the original cable throttle body. There is one for the DBW ( 05-08) Vibes, but is trickier to find. The typhoon is for the 03-05 vibes if i recall. you will either have to fiddle around...

According to the NGK website part numbers, those particular plugs appear to be for the 2ZZ-GE engine (vibe gt) you will need the 1ZZ-FE plugs which are part # IFR5T-11 and stock # 4996 for the laser iriduim plugs or part # BKR5EIX-11 stock # 5464 for the iridium IX plugs. Hope this helps!
