I'd say replace that O2 Sensor first. Should be about $60 and make sure it's the 2nd O2 sensor after the CAT. I would say check the electrical connector and wires to said sensor first. I like to go from cheap to more expensive. As an aside: shops won't necessarily do that, because they want to get ...

If you have don't have any codes but the monitors haven't cleared you need to drive it more. Letting it idle for a few hours does nothing but waste gas and is hard on the engine. Normally it takes a good tankful of normal driving to get the monitors to clear. That's been my experience. My next quest...

The ones I have come with a lifetime warranty from O'Reilly Auto Parts. They were a different brand than the first ones that went bad. None the less they were $75 each. If you want to buy $20 aftermarket ones from e-bay then goodluck.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. An AT Fluid change over is simple and will require about 10-12 quarts of fluid. Doing a drain and refill will only change out about 1/2 of the fluid.

Welcome to Genvibe! The batteries swell when they get old or hot. Needing an alternator and A/C compressor on a 9 y/o car isn't bad. This car will treat you well just do the basic maintenance to it.

Intake Header Exhaust is the cheapest path but don't expect 20hp out of them. Don't buy Throttlebody spacers, chips or "tornados" they are useless. Only way for real power gains is Turbo and that will run $2.5K or more.

A fluid change over is very simple. On the my 1st gen the bottom line from the transmission cooler (located in the radiator) is the return line. Disconnect that then connect a 3-4 ft. hose (I used a clear 3/8" tube) and put the other end in a 5 gallon bucket and secure it. The end going back to...
