It looks like the hoses are hooked up wrong. I will add some pics here in a few. I am pretty sure this is your issues....Pardon the dirty engine bay but here you go...This is where I see the issue:This line in your picture goes to the little valve block thing, and the big hose from under the cover g...
You should be able to rent a code reader at Autozone so you get your money back when you return it. I agree something should fire if it was coils but I have seen the computer say no more and just not run on a motorcycle before. 3 out of 4 were bad in that case....
Make sure the MAF is connected well. If there is an air leak it will trip a code. I will shoot some pics of my install after work so you can check the hoses if someone else doesnt before then.
So the baby is due in just over a month and people are starting to send us stuff. My aunt and uncle bought us the infant seat early so we wouldnt need to worry about it. Well, we test fit it in the Vibe today and it didn't seem to fit in the rear facing position. Am I missing something or do I need ...
Quote, originally posted by joatmon »There are a number of threads here about how to disable the auto headlights. There seem to be three ways1. Turn the car off. Pull the parkingbrake up one click, restart the car and drive2. Cut a wire feeding the DRL module inside the dash. Topic goes way back. O...
Have the code reset and see what happens. When I first installed the CAI I tripped the light, had it reset and it didnt come back on. Same thing happened with the TB spacer. Light came on, had it reset, never came back on...
When I drove all highway miles I saw a large increase. Now that I am driving shorter trips to work and through the city I would say I see a smaller gain. But between TB spacer and CAI I am averaging 32-33 city.
Wow, I didnt even see the part about the Cruiser... That answered my question... THe sad part is the cruiser has the same size tires as the vibe too so the car they came off of was all messed too.... Whatever... Basically I want to get them powder coated anyways. Thanks for the heads up...
I can't believe I need to do this but: I found these on CL and want to know if they fit. The guy measured the holes and really that doesnt tell me much. I don't know how the pattern is measured usually so yeah... Let me know... Thanks.http://ithaca.craigslist.org/pts/2527299834.html
I like the idea. I was thinking of trying to make something along these lines for my Kicker's. Anyone know how the new Kicker shallow mount subs are? they should deliver better than the pioneers...
My wife is making me ask about the heater/ ac fan. Anyways, The Vibe has off and 4 speeds. Speed 1 & 2 barely do anything. Then when switched to speed 3 the fan is really high, and then 4 is max. There is no medium. Should there be a better transition between 2 & 3? 1 - does nothing, 2 - doe...
I was in the same position. Driving 100mi a day and needed better gas mileage. I installed the Injen CAI & Helix TB spacer and I wouldnt change it. It helped me and I actually saw an increase in gas mileage.
This is for anyone who has mounted aftermarket tweeters in the stock location. How did you mount the tweeters? I have everything hooked up and ready to go but I cant seem to get enough room for the larger tweeter. I tried to search but all I can find are mounting for tweeters in the non moon & t...
Try doing those rims black with the sides of the spokes accented in red. I saw this on a couple shows and it looks good when done right...Like this but inversed Or what I want
I used a stain remover on the seats and it made it look worse. Discolored the center slightly. It drives me nuts. I did test it and it was fine, so be careful....
If you don't mind being like an hr away I'd say The Fine Thread in Hammondsport on Keuka Lake. They are great people and run a great Bed and Breakfast.
I would get a WRX. I was going to buy one before the Vibe , but I got a newer vibe for 1/2 the price so I couldnt lose. But, it I did it again, maybe a different story.
Low and behold, these speakers are going back for now. Apparently, I cant hook these up since they are 4ohm and the stock unit is 2ohm. I don't want to blow money on an aftermarket amp or a new head unit yet so yeah.... This sucks.
I don't think I mentioned this. I did this mod, externally just doing the spliced wire technique. I also threw a switch in line so I can kick off the sensor lights at night when I need to. I then hooked my angel eyes up to be on any time the ignition is on... Looks sweet.
Are you sure the crossover was connected correctly? High's to the woofer and lows to the tweeter could cause an issue. I would also check to make sure power is going into/ out of the crossover. That will narrow the location of the issue.
Are all the air lines connected in the correct spot. I think you could have issues if one is hooked up wrong. If I remember correctly there are 3 that need to be disconnected/ reconnected.
Ok, slight rant...What happened to 3D movies? I remember when I was a little kid seeing 3D movies where stuff seemed to come out at you and jump out of the screen. Now they charge a ton more and the 3D seems just to go into the screen and give a fraction of the expierence. I'd rather pay the cheaper...
These GM parts are killer. My wife bought my window switches when she got the window stuck down and called me freaking out in the rain. Those were $100. If it were me I'd see if some of the walmart or pepboys ones would fit somehow. It would be a hellofalot cheaper.
I have the tweeters and I figure that part will be easy. THe main speaker will be a little harder because of the old speaker needing to be cut out of the bracket, but I am more afraid of the depth issue and how to hook up the cross over if I really have 4 wires running to the 2 speakers. And I need ...
I heard old pioneer head units could ground through the antenna some how, and it caused more of a BUZZ sound.... Not sure if it helps. But its an idea.
So the wife got me some Kicker KS component speakers to replae the fronts in the vibe. Where is the crossover to replace those with the kickers as well? Also, with these I am pretty sure Ill need to use the stock rings so I don't lose the depth. I want to make sure everything works correctly before c...
The pump could still be running but broken but I don't think it would do it to both the front and rear at the same time. Usually only one would go out at a time. But check it anyways. I can't remember the specifics on our when we fixed it but it was def the pump.
Welcome. I just did the projector Retrofit myself. Its not easy but it looks good. Make sure your lights are not hazed over. Cleaning them up will do wonders!
