I'd say pull up next to one and verify for yourself (if you can locate one in your town ???) I might see one or two matrix's a year in my neck of the woods compared to 10-20 vibes of the same generation (09 +).

I too lost my avatar about a year ago or longer and just lived without it. It is still there when I go into my profile and hit "edit avatar" and shows up as the current avatar, but does not display it anymore. No big deal

My 2004 Vibe GT is sitting at 160k miles or so and NO starter issues yet. When they do start to happen I will at least have the option of "push starting" the car which I've done MANY times over the past 45 years of driving my stick-shift cars
