The rear does not have struts. The rear are just shocks with coil springs or coil over shocks. There is no alignment to the tire with shocks.

I would think fuel pump or fuel pressure control valve, which is part of the fuel pump assembly. Once you loose fuel pressure from the system, you have have to crank the engine for awhile until the pump can bring the pressure back up. What type of shop would be able to repair this kind of problem best?
To locate a shop in your area, I would find a body shop that does frame straightening and has a frame rack. Talk to them about where they take their repaired cars to get an alignment done at.

What is the code you got from it? Is it a "P'' code or a "C" code? Is the code related to the transmission convertor slippage? When was the last time you changed the transmission fluid and filter?

You can change the fluid out by siphoning out the fluid or use a turkey baster to suck the fluid out and replace it. That wire is for the license plate light. It looks like it has not been plugged in for some time with the dirt that is on the sealed connector end. The light fixture was probably broken when it got rear ended. When was the last time all the lights where checked to make sure they work?

I agree with ehoff121 about the bushings. Poly bushings are way harder and will add greatly to the interior noise of the car. The ride will be rougher and the rest of the body will take a beating. Get the Moog arms and you will be much happier.
