our auto tranny uses Toyota type IV, the Power Sterring uses Dexron III tranny fluid. make sure the bottle says its compatible to the right type. There are fluids that are compatible for both. I use the Royal Purple ATF fluid which covers both dexron III and toyota type IV fluids.

Best to take it out to charge....Disconnect neg. side first then Positive.Reinstall reverse order.After reinstall let idle for a couple minutes so that the computer can re-learn everything. While its doing that you can reset the clock.

ok further testing seems that that my alt is on the way out.latest test showed that at low idle nothing on 13.8 volts and 30ampsAlthough the diodes tested good and the regulator tested good.Now why is everything re-manufactured and not new when shopping for a replacement?

I spied with my little eye a black Vibe with tinted windows in South Austin today On S. Lamar & Ben White by Furr's Cafe and Lacks Furniture. It was around noon. Genvibe.com decal was on the roof bars. and had some sort of white decal on the back glass though I couldn't see what it was.
