That makes sense, my bike has a stator and a rotor, not an alternator. Only charges the battery when revving over 3k RPM. It's also a 1981 so could be that too...

Definitely interested in this as well. I know with my motorcycle the headlight gained power when I swapped out other lights for LEDs since they put less drain on the system. Never heard of the brand, but for that price I wouldn't expect great things. Crutchfield is great for buying head units and getting the install kit, but for speakers they tend to run a bit pricey. You should definitely go aftermarket. Not only for price but also sound quality. Most likely you'll get em cheaper than stock ones anyways. When shopping, just check to see if the tweeter has a mounting hole in the center rear. If it does, it will fit the stock bracket with no modification.

Are they more comfortable? Out here in AZ I drive up into the mountains a ton to escape the heat. This means switchbacks and at least a 3 hour drive. Do corolla seats offer more lateral support than vibe seats?

Thanks! I mainly asked because while I do want new seats, I'm not sure I want to deal with new seatbelts or harnesses. The large shouldered seats don't look like they would work well with a stock seatbelt but who knows. I've been eyeing Corbeau gts2 seats which should work fine with the stock seatbe...

If you poke around online there are kits to make your key into a switchblade key all VW style. That should solve your speared nuts worry right? When I was looking at Acura TSXs their forum had a ton of info on them.
