Going to find out how good the new all season ones I put on last month will do this winter. Our Vibe had some pretty bald tires in Nov 06 when we bought it, ended up with some very bad tires for it, hopefully these will be better.

I think with those the idea is pressure and heat to get some wax on the car, then the cold to run the excess off and solidify the wax on.Either way I know it's doing a crappy job but I live in an apt complex so *shrug*

It was a standard optical drive--just need to wiggle it a bit in place I think. The HD was a notebook model, fit into place in the bracket above optical drive. So they don't affect each other.Ram...sigh. I know better It was 512MB PC133, low density (supposedly--but only 8 chips).

my new (to me) imac G4 is currently tore apart on my desk (this is the wifey's desk) while I upgrade the ram, hard drive and optical drive, then slap a 10.4 install on it.Have a not apple pcmcia wireless card coming for it, only thing I might need to do is splice the antenna cord a little bit longer...

I think TNG was probably my favorite, Voyager was ok-ish. Never got a chance to see much of Enterprise, DS9 was bOOOOORing, and TOS is definitely a bit cheesy.

I think the key in door only works the 2nd time you twist it, or maybe in the other direction? I have the keyhole inserts so I haven't used the keyholes in a long time.Oh yeah,there's a secret compartment behind the rear seats! hahhaa...had this car since Nov 06 and never found it!

Hmm. Never noticed it there, sounds like about the last place I would put anything for convenience anyway. Snow scraper goes on the floor passenger side, if I have a passenger it goes rear floor passenger side.Is it big enough for jumper cables?

Mental note: do not buy Neptune Vibe in Fayetteville.The V6 might ease the gas mileage adjustment you'll have to make...if you do mostly highway you probably won't suffer too much. You said you're having a blast though, which probably doesn't match "drive like a grandma and hypermile".

Get the, err, new kind of blades. just one single curved piece, no little arms or anything, I like them a LOT more than even the winter blades.And actually, on our Vibe with the winter blades we got they seemed to catch the wind and just suck (removed) above about 65mph on the highway.

The GIMP for Windows works good under XP. I would assume it's fine under Vista. I thought about it later, but a galvanized self tapper should remove the need to put a bolt on the inside (which I did also) and squirting something in the hole to prevent rust is probably a good idea.

Good luck. Could try using a screw removal kit to drill in, and then back out with the reverse bit.I had the same problem. Dealer used some real cheap soft metal screws that rusted real quick and were on nice and tight. First I removed most of the metal in a nice circular manner with my first screw ...

gah--the Matrix looks more Vibe-y than the Vibe does now!Still has the rear plate in the center of rear hatch, front end is...edgier than the Vibes now. Along the bottom it almost has some pseudo-monotone-cladding look going on. And the wraparound rear window is pretty nice.
