Looks great! Double-check and make sure the tires are all facing the right way, though (assuming they need to face a certain direction). Sometimes tire places will put them on backwards. Are you kidding? I'm the type person who checks the tire pressure and lug nuts before driving away. They are on ...
Well, I dropped the Vibe off at Wal-Mart after I voted and they installed the new Nexen N5000 tires on the Scion TC wheels with the TPMS sensors out of the stock Vibe wheels. So far, so good. Tires are smooth and quiet and look good on the car.
Thought about not bothering with the sensors, but decided not to stick a piece of black electrical tape over the light as I've done in the past when running the Scion wheels. Nope, the 2008 models were the first year to have the pressure sensors in the wheels. Yep, hope they don't break them. That w...

I recently had the opportunity to drive a Lexus IS350C, a BMW 335i and a Volvo C70. Frankly, I preferred the C70. Still wouldn't rule out the Lexus since I'd like to drive a IS250C. Didn't really care too much for the BMW. It was fun to drive but a little too crude for me to have to live with for se...
18 years old. Back home at my parent's house from the university in bed with the chicken pox. Turned on the TV and watched the launch live. There's no need to have to "get used to" the warning light being on. I've "disabled" my TPMS warning light with a 1/2" x 1/2" square of black vinyl electrical tape. When the stock wheels with sensors go back on, I simply "enable" the warning light by peeling o...

Just thought I'd revive this thread once again after a nearly two year hiatus this time. Here a pic of one of my favorite bikes I've ever owned. It's a 2000 Honda GL1500T Valkyrie Tourer and I put 35.000 miles on it in the nearly five years I owned it from 2001 through 2006.

No doubt there are many great choices out there. I remember shopping for a 'vert back in '06 and I ended up with a blue 2003 Mustang GT with a 5-speed manual. It was a fun car and I miss it occasionally, but my Vibe is way more practical and much safer.

Thanks for the opinions. I'm simply intrigued by the idea of a hard-top convertible as I would liken it to owning two cars in one. The quiet and security of a nice coupe with the drop-top capability of a convertible. The Solstice/Sky is cute, and if a tiny two-seater was the direction I wanted to go...
I bought my Vibe as a practical and fuel efficient replacement for my 2003 Mustang GT convertible. The vibe is perfect for my short distance commuting to school and work and I plan on keeping it. But, I've got the itch for another drop-top and plan on getting a hardtop convertible someday after I'm ...
