Re: Toyota dealers for Vibe parts

I bought a driver side window switch cover from a Toyota dealer because the price is lower than that from a Chevy dealer. I know I could get it for less online but the shipping was too much for such a small part.

Mirror inside with reading lamps? I can't find the part number, but you can find it on GM parts website by searching "Mirror inside w/reading lamps" for a first gen vibe.

Hi, for sale is a liftgate glass assembly with air deflector (frosty/white), wiper and washer components from a 08 vibe. The parts are in very good condition. Price is negotiable. How to fix a crack screw post on the front door power window panel?

Hi, everyone. I have a 2005 vibe. On the driver side front door, the front end of the power window switch assembly inside the panel is held by only one screw. The screw post on the panel is plastic. It is cracked on mine, so the switch assembly sinks into the panel and is difficult to use. Anyone go...

Re: Rear Liftgate replaced, lock does not work (phred923)

They should remove your old lock and put it into the new lifegate. And you don't have to program anything to let the liftgate lock and hatch release to work. Most likely the wires of the new gate are not correctly connected.

A picture of your vibe will be better. You don't want to get the wrong color like I did once for my frosty. When you got the correct code. I suggest getting the touch-up paint on ebay. Less expensive and ships fast. Sometimes they also throw a touch-up kit in your package.

I suggest trying chrome trim moldings, the 3M adhensive on their back holds pretty firm. Just remember to choose one roll of the right shape, and place it on the outer lip of the intake or you won't see the chrome molding, because you will see it at a look down angle. http://www.customautotrim.com/....
