Yeah I contacted honeywell and they are sending out a refund and a box so that I can send it back to them. I have had other higher voltage devices plugged into that same outlet and have never had a problem like this before, so I doubt that it was an outlet issue. But who knows? Hopefully they can ad...

Throttle body spacer

Has anyone with a CAI put a throttle body spacer on ? And if so was it worth it? I also hear that they can make alot of noise (whistle and such) is this true as well. It seems like a cheap and easy mod so if its worth it I may move it up my list of things to get. Thanks

Just a word of warning if you own or plan to buy a Honeywell home portable heater p/n :034-04074-000 R1. This is the condtion of my plug and outlet after a months use. The outlet is completely burned out and will have to be replaced. I consider my family and myself lucky that I checked this plug out...

Yeah, you are right, I should give it a fair chance with a custom tune . I just have to find a place to do it for me. And working retail, I will be on 6 day weeks pretty soon So it may have to wait till January.

I put a unichip in my GT a few weeks back and IMO its not worth the price. If I had the chance to do it all over again I would spend my money elsewhere.....

Just got home from taking the wife back to work and I can tell already that it revs much easier now, from a dead stop, I went from idle to 8k rpm pretty dang fast ! (0 to 40)Thanks for all the replys I am off from work tomorrow, I smell a little road trip I'll keep you posted on how it does on the h...

My first impression ???? * sigh okAs I said earlier the installation was simple.. After getting the glove compartment put back together again, I eagerly start the car....It wont start I try again, and it starts !! but I get a CEL. So I turn the car off and reset the ecu and try the other map setting...

Well I got it installed, really wasnt to hard to do I put a few pics up on my cardomain site.So now do I use my little "powered by unichip" decal or would that look tacky? Gonna go for a little drive now

Finally my unichip arrived

Much to my suprise my auto parts dealer had my unichip !I can't wait to get this thing in first thing tomorrow.A quick question for someone who has one, should I set the map a/b switch to more aggressive or less aggressive timing?[IMG][/IMG]

Well somewhere between the unichip warehouse and the Baxter auto parts warehouse (which i am told are right next to each other) they lost my unichip.... Now they are hoping to have it found by monday.

its mapped and on its way back from oregon ! I am going to pick it up tomorrow ! Cool thing is that the auto parts store is going to get the pc/software needed to remap it, and they said i can have it done for the life of the chip for free.

ahh I see, thanks for clarifying Since I installed my Cosmo CAI my cel has been on, I am hoping that this fixes that issue as well. Hopefully it should get all straightened out and I can get it back into my sweaty little hands by mid next week.
