Welcome to genvibe! If you need to disconnect the cable, there's a pin at the end of the cable that goes in a round slot on the cam. Rotate the cam and you can slide the pin off of the cam. Turned over 100,000 miles last month- I usually keep Trip A on the odometer display, so I missed the obligatory 100k picture... :(

I've owned my '05 AWD since Feb. 2007, when I got her shipped from a dealer in West Virginia with 26k miles.

Did you disconnect the negative battery cable after doing the work? That would reset the computer and it then needs to re-learn the best settings.

Since it's a cable throttle, it can be adjusted. Not sure what the spec is supposed to be, but I'd bet that even when the accelerator is floored, the throttle shouldn't open 100%.

With the engine off, try hand turning the cable pulley to 100% and watch how much slack there is in the cable...

Joatmon did a great step-by-step that is mostly identical for the AWD:

I got some Toyota part numbers for spring and bolt (90501-35035 and 90109-A0013) and for the fore and aft gaskets (17451-0D070 and 90917-06082). Thanks, RFV. It looks like these are for the outlet connection on those vehicles whereas we need the inlet bolts. Can you verify the length of the springs...
