Apple's pricing is standardized. I don't think you are going to see anything lower than what you see today, honestly. The Mac market isn't as price volatile as the PC market.

I believe I read somewhere on Apple's site in the support stuff that every single part in the iMac G5 is user replaceable. I thought that was pretty cool. You can even replace the display yourself.

The airport card is the "official" wireless card for Macs. They all come with it preinstalled now but I believe you can still buy the card from Apple.com or an Apple store.

We were told that the metal is also less likely to be crushed and cause a lint built up that can catch fire. You can buy ones that look just like what you have, they're just metal.

Personally, I think the forum is the "meat" of GenVibe.com, not the content on the main page. I don't think anything would be lost by eliminating the other content altogether and redirecting the main page to the forums, but that's just me.So therefore, I don't really see the lack of update...

I have never seen that particular ad on this site...I usually end up with a Cars Direct ad. I'm not sure who controls the advertising -- more than likely not Nick, and definitely not any of the mods, so there may not even be anything we can do.

Almost 55,000 miles....6 years...no major problems. I had the catalytic converter replaced under the TSB but that is really the only "non-maintenance" work that has been done. The rest was cosmetic.

It looks like there was only Salsa, no Lava, in 07-08 so I guess they had to choose a new color for the Mary Kay Vibe and it was Salsa.Hopefully the original poster will come back to confirm if it was metallic or not so we can make sure she gets the right color.

Hmm...I've never seen a Salsa Mary Kay Vibe. Question for the original poster to make sure of the color: Was it metallic or not? (I don't think Lava is metallic, but Salsa is...someone else please correct if I am wrong.)
