There will be a limited run of all current Pontiac nameplates with 2 exceptions; no G8 and no Torrent. Also, no GXP G6 or G5 models (Chevy loses it's SS Impala and Cobalt as well). I would say that 2010 production will be about 1/3 or 1/4 of 2008, because they just won't sell as well, being a 'doome...

It's an Aveo. It's yet another sad cookie-cutter GM design. The Aveo is a poor excuse for a small car; it's not fuel efficent (the Vibe does better) it's not comfortable, and it's not 5 star crash rated.

Nummi is a thorn in GM's side. GM has never promoted the GM branded products from that plant. The Prism was treated as Chevrolet's redheaded/left-handed step child as well. Gm never advertised the Vibe as being it's highest MPG car (as it was in '06 and '07). I think they suffer from the Not Invente...

Ah, but it IS replaceable....I replaced mine on Vibe #1 at 50K and plan to do the same on this one. However, it's not 100% necessary; it just made me feel better to do it. It's not that hard to do either.

only thing about a car sitting so long is the tires WILL flatspot, and the battery will die. I made them give me a new battery, and I replaced the stupid Goodyears within a month of buying my '06 (it had been on the lot 13 months)

I work at a dealership, and many of the aftermarket 'warranties' want to send us salvage parts, or 3rd party *JUNK* aftermarket to use, and many times they take 3~14 days ...

The ASX is a summer performance rated tire. Not going to get a ton of miles out ot them. If you get over 30k count yourself lucky. I went with the KH16 instead, still an all-season, but not as aggressive, and rated for MANY more miles.

Go to a Toyota Dealer. Gm doesn't have much stock for the '09's yet, they are on backorder (probabally taking a lot of time sticking a GM sticker on a Toyota Filter!) and take about a week for a GM dealer to get.
