Hi, Is it a good improvement to intall a struts bar on a 09 base 1.8L Vibe ??? Should I do the brear one too??? Is it possible to do it with out removing winshield wiper assy ??? What makes are reccomended??? Where is a good place to get it ??? I am on Ontario so would be nice to know a supplyer up ...

Hi Cara,

Those tires are fine for the car..
The 91 is for the load and the T is for the speed rating ( up to 113 MPH or 190 KM speed)..
What the T means is if You drive faster than the max 113 MPH for over 10 minutes the tire might blow on You...

I was just going to buy this Momo rims from CT,but than I find out they can not get the lug nuts (65557RC)...
Not sure what to do , I like the rims but need the proper lug nuts..

Windshield wiper slugish in cold weather..

Anybody have any idea what to do with windshield wiper , when it is cold it gets slugish..
I did open it and lubricated it before ...
It seems wiper motor freezes ...
Sometimes in a really cold morning takes 10 15 minutes with defrost heat till it start working..

My trailer is 900 Lbs , plus bikes and camping gear : around 1200 Lbs total... I mesured the toungue weight and loaded the trailer so it is safe and does not exeed the limit.. On the hills and the rough roads or traffic I drove very conservatively and in 3 and sometimes even in 2... On the flat high...

Planing to move the propane tanks and builed a platform for the bikes.. I will use 2 2"x8"x5' pressure treated side by side, bolted to the toungue.. Install a metal post ( white) in the middle to tie the bikes down... I will only carry one tank and have it in a milk crate in the trailer wh...

1.8 Base with tranny cooler installed..
I do not know the part number for the tranny cooler , just trusted my mechanic ...
But I am moving the bike rack on to the tongue of the trailer,because I almost lost the bikes and the bumper....
Too much stress on the back..

Ok, I just got back from the Maritimes 6000 Km camping trip .. The car was doing very well, the only problem I had was the bike rack on the trailer bumper... I did not do enough research on it , and find out the bumper is not strong enough... I made it back home safe , but was a battle on the trip.....

Yes I did it from the top and taped the harness to the sensor , so if I ever want to reconnect I pop the sensor and comes out with the rest.. Plug back in and done... Now the tint.. Hello,

I am looking to buy this rims for my 09 Vibe base and they are 16" 5x100 ..
The offset is 53, should I worrie about it or it will work???
The tire size is 215/55/16" witch is little wider too...
Would this rims rub or touch the fender???

Hello,
I just find a set of rims and wonder if it would work on my 2009 base Vibe..
Rim size is 16" 5x100 bolt pattern ,but the offset is 53mm Vibe take 39-40mm)
Tire size is 215 /55/16...
Would this touch , rub te fenders??
I know my speed reading will change a little ...

I have the same problem with my 2009 Vibe..Of course it is just out of warranty so have to deal with it...I tried to lube the shaft with no luck...I am thinking it could be the stalk connection...What was your problem ???Anton

Ok, that is it...This morning only minus 2 no wiper again..Pissed off very mush sooooooooooooooooooo..got home after work ,right into the garage off the wiper arms ( was very easy by the way )and soaked in wd40..Sprayed it about 6-7 time every half hour..Reinstalled everything and left car in garage...

Well , I put the car in the garage for 1 hour ...Of course it warmed up and the wiper worked again...I sprayed it with DW-40 and left it for half an hour before put the car outside...Temp. will be -17 Celsius over night..I Hope this will work...
