The 09s do have an immobilizer that is bypassed with an RF signal from the key. Side bar Autopage does make nice R/S units.

Try locking and unlocking all the doors including the hatch with the physical key.Back in the 90's that is the method Chrysler used,put key in trunk, turn, and alarm was off.Doubt it will work but worth a shot.Do you have an owners manual?

Here are a couple shots of mine when it was on S-Techs It was low, handled great but rode to rough for me. I think at the lowest point there was like 4" clearance under the car.

WOW I am amazed at the mileage you guys are at. I got my Vibe from the wife November 06 with about 86,000 I now have 94,400 but the vibe will now get driven in the winter.

if the scratches are not that deep you could dry sand the display with some 2000-3000 grit sandpaper then use a polishing compound and polish by hand and get good results.

The switch in this pic for the dash illumination next to the mirror controls, if rotated all the way up triggers the dome light, this is where I wired mine to. I will try to see what wire I used tomorrow after work if I have time, I have a X-mas party to go to for my wifes work.

No the switch in the dash to the left of the steering wheel. yes it will take care of the hatch when the dome light comes on the alarm will sound.

What they said the tighter the better! I would seal the hole on the rear of the stock enclosure, or you could get creative and add a port to the enclosure to maximize the SQ but that port would have to be probably 30-40" long to get a low enough tuning frequency to not have ghetto bass per say....

If I were you I would quickly look into the wiring. I would find the right wire for the antenna/amplifier and wire them together and wire the speaker to the correct wire. The way you have it currently wired could create some issues for you in the near future.

If you have the Moon and Tunes package (little tweeters in the top of the doors) make sure you hooked up the blue/white wire on your radio to the amplifier turn on wire on the aftermarket harness.

The firewall is the area directly down from the base of the windshield and goes vertically until it gets to the floor behind the dash. The kick panel is directly to the left of your left shoe when sitting in the drivers seat or directly to the right of your right shoe if in the passenger seat.
