Here ya go. It's hard to make something look black and the results actually come out convincing.lol or well it is for ME anyway. Haven't learned formally how to do it yet. Just tried different ways. ANYWAYS... here ya go :) http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q18/the_brandn/BLACKWHEELS.jpg As usual ...
Wow that is exactly what I was looking for!! Yes that is what I want :P Do you think that looks better or should I just leave it the way I have it? The only reason I would paint the grill surrounds and center grill black is to match with the headlights and fog lights. I am personally leaning towards...
I am not that satisfied with the final results of my painting. Sure they look great, but as others said it is just a bit too much silver. On to my next plans. I am thinking of painting the stock chrome around the grill (the actual chrome that came with the car) black, and leaving the grill inserts s...
well that has made my day already and it's only 4:27am :D that looks amazing. better than mine IMO. Not sure my Vibe could pull off mesh like that. about a year ago when I checked eBay, that baby wasn't on there yet. I agree it looks great, but the seller charges extra to have it silver and polishe...
can't really fork out the money to buy a mesh grill for the car right now, so I thought this would do for now. well with the mesh grille available for those, isn't it just up top? leaving you one mesh grille and then some slots on the bottom? that's why I love my grille. It's the same on top and bo...
that looks ill ;) i bet that took some nerve to actuallt commit to that idea lol you pulled it off nicely tho. you give it a good thick layer of clear coat? I can't imagine a plastic painted grille holding up for much more than a year or two No clear coat. I know it is needed but I have to redo all...
Hi guys, had some free time today so I thought I would paint my front grill to match my car. Here are the pictures. What do you think? To each his own I know.. but I personally love the look of a grill that matches the car. It makes things flow much more nicely. Pics: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7...
Not a big fan of this new forum layout and software. I might post a suggestion to upgrade to vBulletin.. their forums operate and function much more smoothly and are more user-friendly.
Thanks for the tip ! I like that paint scheme you drew for me in paint, so I will look into it. For now I am satisfied with just the stock wheels. Here is a pic of them mounted
Quote, originally posted by 06pvibe »They remind me a little bit of Scion tC wheels and they look great on Vibes IMO. You could personalize them a bit? A bit of gray metallic paint. A red stripe here or there and they'd look realy good.Didn't notice the resemblance until you pointed it out! Cool!I ...
Yeah I am just gonna take them to the installer once I receive the wheels and see what he says. Here is an update!I purchased these wheels for a steal on E-bay ($271 WITH free shipping!) They are lightly used and have some curb rash, but nothing major... considering I will probably add a little more...
It looks as if the pictured wheels have "acorn" style lug nuts. What is the difference between the "acorn" style and the chamfered style? Yes, it comes with a center cap.
Thanks for that great information! What would I need if I plan on using hub centric rings? I was looking at these, mainly for their price :http://www.ebay.com/itm/251012...l2649Regardless of which wheel/tire I currently have/am getting, will these fit as long as they are 12x1.5?Here is the wheels th...
I found some sacchi rims. I'm gonna buy them today but apparently I need hub centric rings and new lug nuts. What size and type lugs do I need? I know they have to be the extended ones but idk about which size to get.
Yes decisions LOL! The guy is being reasonable and offering to meet me halfway, so its only about an hour or so from where i am at (my location says I am in Columbia but I am closer to Atlanta at the moment).. and my wonderful Vibe gets great gas mileage LOLThe reason the ebay auction is showing the...
They do make designs like such with 10 lug nut holes.. maybe the ones with 10 were an older generation?See picture:Also here is another set of 16 inch Konig What my view on this is that they made different generations.. the new ones don't have the "universal" effect, while the older ones d...
The verdict : These have 10 holes to fit both bolt patterns, which is why they are listed as 10/100/114.3mm.Let me know if you are still interested.Thank you. This guy says they have 10 holes to fit both patterns, which could be understandable considering he only posted a stock picture, not a persona...
Ooops, I posted mine while you must have posted yours.Yes that is the ad for them. What a steal huh? I messaged him stating my problem and that I am no longer interested. Unless he can convince me they will fit, I think I am going to move on from these.THanks!
Thanks for the heads up!This guy had them on a 2000 Chevy Cavalier.. which I put into the discount tire wheel search and it brings up the same exact type of rim for both the Cavalier and Vibe (Same part # and everything) so I am assuming this might be one of those "rare" tires? This seller...
Alright guys, I am most likely going to be purchasing these on Ebay (they are a steal!)I need your help confirming these WILL fit my 2009 2.4L base.Bolt Pattern: 5x100, 5x114.3Rim Width: 7Rim Brand: KonigRim Diameter: 16Manufacturer Part Number: Zero-InNumber of Bolts: 5I am a bit confused as to how...
Thanks for the info and heads up guys!As far as the offset, what if I plan on not buying tires? I am going to use the ones that came stock with my car. would that be a problem? Here are the specs of those Red ones which I am really looking intoModel - ApexSize- 16 "x 7 "Bolt Pattern5x100 / ...
Yeah it's all a bit too confusing LOL. Can anyone please confirm the above figures will fit my 2.4l? The only thing I'm worried about is the width and offset. The eBay seller isn't responding and I'd like to order them ASAP .. Thanks!
Alright guys - I'm pretty sure I am gonna grab the first pair picture. Can anyone help me confirm that these will fit? THe only thing I am worried about is the width and offset :Rim Material: AlloyNumber of Bolts: 5Rim Width: 7Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3Rim Diameter: 16Rim Brand: Factory, OEMOffset: 43
I assume the width of our wheels are 7 inches? So I would need to look for a 16x7 with a bolt pattern of 5x114.3 correct? I've seen a lot of ads with wheels that are 6.5 inch diameter, would those not fit? Here is what I've found on Ebay so far.. I want your opinions!I am really not too fond of these...
I have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe Base 2.4l (isn't it a 2.4 if it has the "square" hubcaps?)I read somewhere here that the 2.4l has a 5.114 pattern, that is true correct? Will 5x100 work on the 2.4l? It seems the 5x100 wheels are more available and cheaper than the 5x114.Thanks!
The type of projectors you have doesn't make a difference.I have retrofitted headlights in my Honda, and when a bulb turns on and goes out very quickly.. the bulb is burnt out. Swap the bulbs and you will probably notice that the passenger side will now go out. If that happens, then you know for sur...
Fellower Vibers!! I am sorry if this has already been covered (I'm sure it has, but I am not good at working forum search functions).. ANYWAYS. I have an 09 Vibe base model 2.4 and it does not come with cross bars.. however it DOES come with some sort of black rubber molding on each side of the roof...

My fog lights on my 09 Base are brighter than my headlights.. they are basically like spot lights. They add lights to the side sure, but they also shine above my low beams. I've never been flashed though.. and before anyone tells me I should aim them (I tried to get under my car and wheN I twisted t...
Open your hood and look for this on your headlight: Once you locate it, drive up to a wall or garage door so you can see your headlight beams against it, put the screwdriver in the ridges and turn it till you see it start raising (if it lowers, then turn it opposite and it will raise) .. raise till ...
If you can see no further than 6 feet infront of your car, then no change in bulb is going to solve your problem. It sounds like you need to raise your headlights using the headlight adjuster. Adding brighter bulbs won't add distance, they will just make the 6 ft range infront of your car brighter.....
I have silverstar bulbs in my 09 and I can't stand driving my car at night. My fog lights I ordered don't even work because they keep blowing my fuses (over 4 blown, making my own wiring harness this weekend to hopefully solve the problem). In my opinion, the fog lights are the only good thing the he...
Wait, how do you adjust left and right? I know how to adjust up and down because as posted above in the picture, R stands for raise and L stands for lower. I understand that perfectly but I haven't found how to go left and right?
Hi guys - have another mod under my sleeves! It really bothers me everytime - see my 09 base and its lower front bumper which doesn't match the upper grilles. This weekend I plan on painting the complete lower bumper to color match my silver vibe. I guess if it doesn't look good then last resort I c...

Well since I was so dissapointed that I couldn't retrofit my headlights because they can't be baked in the oven and seperated.. I went ahead and changed the design of my hubcaps again :DHere is the new style.. what do you guys think? Do you like the first pair I did or these better? And yes.. I stil...
