Re: Supercharger @ -20F (ragingfish)

"You can't turn off a supercharger...it's bolted onto the engine, and always "on"..."That's obvious. It is just a matter of if I installed one, would I want to drive it in extreme cold conditions or put it in storage for the winter.

Supercharger @ -20F

Does anyone know how a supercharger would react to super cold weather like at -20F to -30F? Would it be something you would not want to use in extreme cold temps?

Re: Battery Disconnect after CAI install? (Mase)

Which fuse is the EFI fuse? I would rather do that than disconnect the battery so I don't have to reset the stereo, tire pressure monitor, reprogram the door locks, etc...Thanks!

Re: coming into block heater season... (Atomb)

I have one on mine as well. I talked to the dealer and they said an hour should be sufficient. But I would probably go up to 2 hours for the nights it gets below -20.

Re: Suspension Questions from a newbie (MadBill)

Sunny & MadBill,Thank you both for the great information reguarding the Vibe's suspension. You have saved me from wasting money on a strut tower brace. Now, I can use it for a CAI/SR setup in the future. Thanks again everyone!

Re: Suspension Questions from a newbie (rasermon)

So the main benefit to lowering your vehicle is to maintain higher speeds thru the curves & turns? I have a an AWD so what would a good amount be to lower mine as a also want to maintain as much ground clearance as I can for the snow season?

Battery Disconnect after CAI install?

Do I need to disconnect the battery and then reconnect it after 20-30 minutes when I make modifications like CAI and Cat-back exhaust so the MAF sensor and any other sensors can reset themselves and readjust to the new set-up with increased air flow? Or is this the case only if I get a CEL or other ...
