When I got the car back they didn't bother to attach the gear shift cover back on, it was just sitting on top so I fixed it my self. I went over to 9thGen but without search I looked through most of their posts and can't see anything. I even googled to see if a dyno would show up but they were all auto's. Thanks for the help though.

I don't recommend the 1.8 w/Supercharger. My gas mileagehas gone way down....but fun factor way up.

Talking from experience when I fried my MAF...I'd say yours is toast. Mine did the exact same thing ad same symptoms when I arcked the positive terminal on my battery to the CAI accidently.

does the belt skip under load when you rev the engine? I have hesitation if thats any consolation,not all the time just when I give to much gas and let off quickly.Do you have the factory pulley on the SC?

I've lost reception strength with the Shark Fin against the old factory antenna. It doesn't pull in the signals as strong.

Ya I have a grounding kit too and voltage stabilizer. The Cap though works great, then again I don't go around cranked all the time and only turn it up when some ricer pulls up with his factory stereo screaming.

Yep I yielded to oncomming traffic so did the guy behind me and then next thing you know WHAM. I get out ask the guy (removed) and he goes "sorry thought you were going to go". It was a 91 Jimmy and the hatch got punched good and bumper is cracked. Totally wrecked my day. You must be going...

Hey there, I've got two alpine amps each rated more than 400watts RMS running everything. I did add a cap because I noticed my lights dimmed significantly when cranked. PS I also upgraded the battery.

Well the code is "Engine Running Lean". However the light went off over two weeks ago and has remained off...weird. Of course the dealership wanted to change my fuel filter for $250.00 but I declined. I did have the new plugs installed though today (NGK) I'll see what happens next in my S/...

Well the weird thing is the temperature otside has cooled off and the CEL has vanished. Still taking it in for a check but nowmy Compustar alarm doesn't work. I'll keep you posted on what happens next.

Check engine light?

Anyone else have their check engine light on? I think it may be the CAI? Anyone else have one? It came on suddenly yesterday, wonering what might be the cause because I haven't noticed any difference in the performance? Thanks for the help.
