Re: Correct items for LED Turn Signal install

In my 06, the third brake light will illuminate the entire rear interior of my car, esp. the bottom of the window sill. You can also check the rear lights by facing the (removed) of the car toward a window at night, which is how I first noticed my 3rd light was out. I made a little light guard for ...

Re: Correct items for LED Turn Signal install

So with the no-load flasher module what happens if the LEDs quit working? I assume you get no indication like hyper flashing? LEDs last nearly forever so it's probably not a big deal unless you get a wiring fault somehow. That is the only problem you will not get any indication if their is an issue...

Re: Moon and Tunes and Radios

Hey guys, As for the post about not needing line level adapter, when I made my speaker and HU choices, I kept in mind how many watts the factory amp + the HU would be sending to all the speakers, and *so far* have had no issues. The loudest I really listen to is about 75% volume, and I don't run a ...

What milage did you have to replace your Fuel Pump?

Curious about how long the Vibe fuel pump lasts. Its one of those repairs that you hate to think about. Most anything on the car you can tweak or get by for a little bit to limp home on. Fuel pump goes kaput and its game over, call the tow truck. Run down past or present vehicles and mileage their f...

Re: Vibe Upgrade Monsoon Audio system to Hurricane

As long as you have the same amp it should work. Your JENSEN tube is likely 4 ohm, the stock amp is 2 Ohm, so overloading the amp is not an issue, but the tube may be quieter than if attached to a 4 ohm amp. As for wiring, the wiring harness in your vibe may already have the woofer wires run to the ...

Nice. I have to say the pic of the Vibe next to the water tower, the angles on the car really stand out. Without the roof racks, it really has a clean look that the white pushes to another level.

No issue on synthetic. The benefit is going to be the composition of the synthetic, it has a higher heat tolerance and breaks down less than traditional ATF. Have several used vehicles with over 250k that were converted from regular to synthetic, no ill effects found. As seen in the video, the stock...

Recommended transmission fluid service interval is 60k miles unless you tow. I wish the previous owner had changed the fluid at least once, although the sludge shown in the bottom is somewhat normal, the less you have, the less is floating through the tranny when its running. I thought about using t...
