I'm not sure if it's made for plastics or not, but I did use a plastic Primer (can't remember which one off the top of my head). I'll look when I get home. I'll tell ya just what I used.

I'm gonna ask a stupid question, and probably be handed links to pages i've overlooked something on, but here goes...Can you turbocharge a Base Vibe with an automatic transmission? Also, when turbo-ing a 1zz engine, would it need internal work, or can it be run stock? Also, one other thing....I've h...

I used Rustoleum Metallics...not sure how well they'll hold up with the heat....it's a waiting game to see how they do. So far...no troubles...I'll let you know.BTW...if you wanted the same color, I used &qu...

Here ya go, for your viewing pleasure!I think they turned out nice....there's some imperfections in the engine cover, but you have to get close to see 'em....the silver was done with VERY careful masking (and countless hours of going cross-eyed masking inside the "6" and the "A")...

Yeah, now all I have to do is find some silver cladding I want to get some that is from the factory...the paint has to be better on them than if I paint mine. If anyone has a Monotone Silver vibe and want to go to a factory style two tone....I'd be happy to take the cladding off your hands!

As of now, I have no complaints with them. The wind noise is actually pretty nill. With the window cracked open, it's a little quieter than without them. They fit nice and close to the window...no more than a finger's worth.
