I would check all wire male and female plugs. Use a spray can of electric contact cleaner. Look under the front seats for a power amp. and check those connections.

Yea when I first saw the pictures on the news at noon.....I said that looks like the Vibe......And later I was able to see a close side view of the Vibe name on the car.

The Volume control knob breakage is one of most common defects of the 09 and 10 Vibe. There are a number threads herein about how to repair and/or replace it with a new knob. If your car has been waxed over the years,...perhap what you are seeing is the wax lifted off the paint finish...

I would think that if it was paint, then it would of bubbled up or blistered up off the metal.

Try Bug and tar remover....it is basiclly mineral spirits.....or a car wax stripper.

Great to see that you like the Monroe OESpectrum Struts and that they really do what they say....that is to reduced the harshness of the ride. Did you drive over a road that you know felt bad with the old struts to compare the ride?

Rock auto for all of it. Kyb strut mounts, Monroe OE Spectrum struts and Delco bellows. Going to reuse the springs I thought (by the photo) you were buying KYB Struts as well.
