I've had the back seats out and I would NOT recommend mounting and amp under them. It's not the greatest surface for one and two there's not much give for when a person would be sitting back there. For anyone who has done something to this extent to access the door locks, is it necessary to remove the speaker separately or can you leave it riveted in and simply disconnect it when you pull of the inner metal?

Bad fluid is always a possibility. I went with a cheap Kmart brand one time bc I needed fluid bad and it ended up being a waste with very low pressure. I ran the pumps in like 15 second burst sproatically throughout the day in order to expell it as quick as possible without burning up the motors.

The amp powers the sub and all speakers. It's actually pointless to unplug the factory sub bc you will still have some bass when you have to turn down/off your sub. Plus, to me anyways, it feels like the factory sub adds more depth in the midbass range. Just my 2 cents.

When you say they don't lock, does that mean they pulling out or moving up and down? If up and down, that would be the adjuster that needs connected.scherry2: Thanks for clarifying that they push in from the front. I obviously neglected to state rather important detail haha.

For the 05-08's, you do not need to remove the front bumper when putting one in. Hmm.... now I'm second guessing myself bc of the adjuster. Well, regardless, if you have some ramps, then you should be plenty fine. I think the only thing is the part of the wheel well liner that connects to the front ...

I believe Dupont has a good product for chrome rims to give it that translucent black look. It may not work well on the painted or machined wheels. Guess it depends if you have a 09/10 with the chrome wheels or you can always give it a try on the 03-08 wheels.

I've noticed lately that my hood is not wanting to latch properly when I shut it. Sometime last month we had a bad ice storm. It sound like the wind noise from the moonroof is way worse than it was prior to the storm. Should I try and replace the gaskets or would there be something else that I should look for as being the culprit in having more wind noise?
