Re: Farwell to the Firebird, Long live the Pontiac GTO (Flip-Side)

The so called GTO looks nothing like the muscle I remember. GM needs a sports car like the TA and Camaro that will duel with the 390 HP Mustang Cobra. The Corvette is to damn expensive for most to afford around $50,000 and a Cobra goes for $31,000. The GTO looks like a family car and is heavy and wi...

Re: Toyota matrix intake mod 20+ Hp (coratz)

I have heard of celica owners doing a similar mod. What it does it trick your ECU in to thinking the incoming air temp is much cooler than what it really is. Since cooler air is more dense than warmer air the ECU then has the fuel injectors spray more fuel into the engine resulting in more power.The...

On small dispacement engines as in the Vibe back pressure is key to low end grunt. To much and you might gain some in the low RPMs but hurt yourself in the upper RPM. To little and you will feel it in the ((removed) dyno) and the car will feel sluggish down low. You'll have to find the right combo.I...

The free flowing cat will reduce back pressure and you might lose a little low end torque but I think you'll be very happy with your top end power.
