On further analysis - the passenger airbag should not have went off. Not sure why you think it shouldn't have gone off? Also, where has this Vibe been located most of its life? Thanks! There's a sensor in the passenger seat, and the passenger airbag is only suppose to go off, during a crash, if the...

Re: My apologies . . .

I used to feel this way about recalls, but after the terrible luck I've had having other people fix things that weren't broken, I'm hesitant to go in for a recall I don't need unless it's for something dangerous, ie; our air bags. I'd be more inclined to fix recalls I don't "need" if they ...

I'd offer to meet them, take a good look at the wheels, then offer them the $200 cash. A lot more likely to take it if they're already there and you've got the cash for their face. I forget, what size tire goes on those rims? Aren't they lighter, too? Ah, where's that thread at...

How much weight you throwing back there approximately? Have you looked into airbags for the rear? Can be done very cost effectively and sounds like it would be a good match. Easy to install right inside the spring usually. Not sure on Vibe specifics, however. Firestone, I think, may make a inexpensi...
