hard to say.. about the only thing I could say would be to remove the HU and remove the speakers from the left side and ohm out the lines with a meter.. maybe there is a pinch on the wire?

yeah, if you don't want to put with through the door, you can wire up to behind the HU and use the stock wires into the door.. Everything is becoming PNP, and the doors are a perfect example I see, a molex plug in the door jam (common over the years) so it's simple to plug it in and hang the door..

I wonder what different shapes would do for performance? The flat stock being used here is "ok" but we all know how easy it is to bend a plastic ruler.. same difference.. I wonder how 1x1 angle would work.. I wonder the stiffness difference..

Pull the positive cable and put an amp meter between the terminal and battery, see if you are getting an excessive draw.. No problems with batteries though right? no start problems? besides the car diesing and replacing the alt?

sounds like a temp sensor of either the coolant or intake... pretty obvious.. everything goes wonky at warm up.. Possibly a coolant issue if it runs HOT.. could be a thermostat that's not opening... not sure if our system is a fail to open or not.. Is there any coolant in the motor?
