Since I no longer own the Vibe, I can't say how difficult it would be.... Or where some of the electronics would be located. Try the fuse block under the hood and under the dash for the wiper controller.
If you shake them and they start you probably have debris in the internal gear mechanism of the wiper motor assembly. Probably something small that periodically lodges itself somewhere it shouldn't when you stop them. Or (if the electric motor has brushes) the brushes have corroded or seized in plac...
All-seasons that work well in the winter? Never heard or seen such a tire... maybe "all-seasons that are OK in the winter or adequate in the winter" but that's about it. I can recommend an awesome tire that is almost impossible to hydroplane in the summer and sticks hot, dry roads. Or a ti...
Do you have photobucket? It's an easy place to put all the pics you care to share online. You can also use the "Upload Attachment" (right beside Options), it's right under the box you type in when replying to a post.
Plain and simple, it's not a design flaw in the car that's causing poor road traction. You're going to have to spend some cash and get decent rubber. That $656 is a decent price given the time of year... Craiglsist, you could probably scrounge up some decent rubber and rims for half that. I remember...
Tires.... Tires... Tires... Tires.... Tires!!!! Get the proper tires for the task! Why would you spend a couple thousand on a new car when you can get an awesome set of winters for less than $500... Even cheaper if you scour Kijiji or Craigslist! I never had any problems with winter when I had my Vi...
Here's more "mountain"... This pic was taken at a pass between two mountains, very windy as you can see by the thin layer of snow that in other places is about a foot deep...
Check the obvious... Make sure you are in D and not in the manual mode as you could have had it limited to second gear, no check engine lights, trans fluid at the correct level...
Alright... let's see here: Center street bridge. Built in 1916. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centre_Street_Bridge_%28Calgary%29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af145/star_deceiver/IMG_1095.jpg http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af145/star...
Remove the black pipe and slide the battery to the side to get at the drivers bulb, passenger side is easier. Both require a 30 degree turn to the left (I recall) and the bulb comes out. I did this twice during my ownership.
Clutch pedal switch. Easy to check and it's where I would start. Remove the wires and tie them together (or disconnect them... however it senses the pedal being fully depressed) and try to start!
Just remember that the onstar module has the numbers, lettering, barcodes, ect on it.... The silver box with no stickers, info, is for your 120v outlet. So don't remove that one.
Buy a set of snow tires on their own rims and put a good set of summers on another set of rims! I recommend studded Firestone winterforce for winter and Hankook Ventus V4 for summer! The Hankooks I had on the Vibe were next to impossible to hydroplane even at excessive freeway speeds in a downpour! ...
The challenges aren't hard. It's just generally difficult sometimes to be at the correct place, with camera, and have the opportunity to take said picture. Unless of course, your sole purpose of that day is traveling to get said pic... and that takes a lot of time that most people just don't have. H...
WOW.... those are truly horrible numbers!!! On a 6 year plan, that's about $150 biweekly. Total cost is VERY important but your payment structure is equally so. Set up your payments much higher over a shorter term, 4 yrs max. But if you think that's scary, try calculating the interest on your CC's a...

I'm sure everyone's seen the news so far, youtube vids, ect. Well, here's a few I snapped! From Thursday June 20th: The Elbow river, just east of Bow falls http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af145/star_deceiver/Kananaskis-20130620-01297.jpg See the black in front of the bridge? The river's eating i...
On the 2nd gen 1.8 there was a blocked off port on the lower drivers side of the intake manifold. But you could use any port on the engine side of the throttle body, just use a tee fitting.
I have only ever reported 1 topic that wasn't spam.... I reported it as off-topic... and it was my own thread that I accidentally posted in the wrong subforum.... AND I asked for a mod to reply to me once it was moved... AND THEY DID!!! The system works!!!
MT-90 worked ok even below -30... I say ok because nothing on any vehicle, even the driver, works properly on a cold -30 morning... at least until the 3rd cup of coffee!
