Re: (wyatt89)

Wyatt,U can up that mileage on the GT a lot by changing your driving habits and using the Scangauge. I am getting 37.5 pretty consistantly without the air on our GT. I ran the interstate Saturday with air and still got 33.5. That was driving 65 mph, cruise, and up and down hills in the Ozarks.Just a...

How many miles does that equate to? I suspect that your poll will get u a lot of no's. Most Vibes don't have serious problems. There are exceptions like bad tranny or something. Give it a good drive and take it to a rack and look it over real good. 60,000 miles on my 03 and not a problem one other t...

Re: Actual gas mileage (NibCrom)

I think the standard shift is why I can get good mileage and, I run 40lbs of air in my 10 inch wide tires. With the GT and the 6 speed I run down the road at 15 tps at 56 mph. I do not do freeways if I can help it unless we are on a long trip. I would pick up another Vibe, base model, if I could fin...

It is amazing how much fuel one can save by just paying close attention to the tps reading. I watch it most of the time. I have just begun watching the gph.
