I went to the LA Auto Show this weekend and found a both with s person advertising a clear plastic for the fron end of the car to protect it from rocks and anything that might chip the paint. How much would a custom job run me? Is there a brand I should stick to? Dont know much about exhausts but I want something that dosent sound like a pissed off weed eater I just want it to have a deep roar but not a loud one to be quiet until you step on the gas. Damn I sound lost!!!

Do you have a CAI? Mine use to make rattle noise because the filter was hitting the back of the fog light until I fixed it. If you dont have a CAI then not sure what it could be.

I have same problem well not a problem now. I know I have to actually SLAM it shut. I think it sucks that you have to put soo much force to close it I hate to hear it slam but you have to give it a good push so it closes. What about the weather? Is it a problem gettign watter in it when raining? I live in California so not a lot of rain but enought to have puddles of watter. Should I be worried? I guess another reason to think twice about an intake?

CAI fog light problem

Question for anyone that has an Injen CAI. I bought the CAI about a month ago and installed it with no problem. Then about 2 weeks ago a friend of mine told me my drivers side fog light was out after I checked it out I found out that the CAI air filter had kicked off the connection to the fog light....

So when I try to start the car and it sounds like it is struggling its the battery being weak/small? So buying a new bigger battery will fix the problem? How do you know wich battery to pick. I agree GM should replace it but how long do we have to wait for it? Its not a BIG problem here in Caliornia...

I dont know much about turbos or superchargers but what is better? Is there more HP gain with a sc than a turbo? Does SC have a longer life? Is that the reason GM offers the SC over a Turbo?

so just stick with regular subs on a box. is that what i should do? I have 2 12in MA AUDIO subs with 800 watt amp. the problem is it takes up a lot of trunk. so was looking for something smaller. maybe 1 12in in a box instead of the double speaker box. that might work.

For the simple reason that I have never had a car with a sc is the reason im getting one. I use premium fuel now as it is (California price almost $2.00 a Gallon) so all i have to dish out is the $3 grand. Any one think the SC price will eventually go down? Dont have the money to spare but 2-3 month...

Well I have 2 12 inch MA Audion Speakers from my sebring I traded in for the vibe and they take up a lot of room so I would like to go with 1 sub. thats why i said a 15 in. but is a 15 too much? would 1 12in kicker do the trick? Also I have the 800 watt amp keep amp get new 1?

Well yeah i guess i meant 0-60. I just didnt know if there was any difference in speed acceleration with it on or off. I noticed with it off the RPM's are higher at same speed than with it on.

Just wondering..... When does the auto vibe have the best acceleration when the overdrive is on or off? I dont really have a place to test when is it faster with it on or off or does it make any difference? Any one know the difference if any?
