I rear blind spots are only a concern when reverseing... when driving the mirrors are good enough that i have never lost a car in my blind spot.. when they disappear from my mirror they are easily seen in my side window. My multese X tends to ride anywhere, in a crate for long drives or on one of the seats for short ones. My bigger dog rides in the cargo area.. always, he doesn't mind though..

I agree, a fifth gear would be nice.. it definatly doesn't have the guts that my 06 honda civic had when it came to highway crusing, especially on the hills.

The only thing that bugs me is the lack of Intermittent Wipers... the two settings are never the right speed. But i would of had to pay for the next package up to get them. Other then that i'm pretty happy with my choice.

hmm It looks really good with tinted windows!! very nice! And i've been averaging about 560 km per 40 liter tank.

I hate that we have to have front licence plates where i live, they look soooo much better without the front plate.

As far as i understand, the G5 is basically the new sunfire, the G6 is the new grand am, and so on. The Vibe is just the vibe remodeled. Seems like pretty good improvements all round.

i miss the "beep" aswell, i can never remember if i locked it. I'm definatlly not mechanically talented at all though....

The 09 drives straight as a board. I can cruise control on the highway and let go of the steering wheel and it just keeps on goin like it could drive itself. Pretty nice. My only complaint is if you hit a dip in the road (like new pavement meeting the old, that the darn road crew never smoothed out)...

I have the exact same car (minus the roof racks) and you do get used to the blind spots! Its worth it. It looks best in white, although i woulda took orange or yellow if they had it.

Each to their own... but i prefer to 2009 to the older models hands down. More safety features, modern interior and smooth styling exterior! Can't go wrong!

update: I got 560km on my last tank with it not quite on empty yet... 75% highway driving, this is with the 1.8 liter automatic sorry i know its in km
