... I will say this. My 6-spd Matrix Xrs was the most fun I've ever had in a car I owned. Purchased new in March of 2002, I quickly added an Injen CAI and TRD exhaust, and I just loved the sounds coming from under the hood and out the tailpipe. After my motorcycle accident in 2009, I had to get ...

I'm looking to get the CAI from Cosmo Racing so I may not replace this tubing. I'd need to check if the CAI even has a spot for it. My guess is that it does not. Is the vacuum ...

... through big puddles, then yeah, it's a possibility. A short ram intake is usually a better option, just for ease of maintaining the filter. With a CAI, you have to remove the headlight and better to get to the air filter since it drops it down behind the fog light. With a SRI, it essentially sits ...

TBH, you're not going to gain anything from just headers or a CAI. As I always tell people, a CAI or SRI make my grandma car sound like her chihuahua when I come over  But to answer your question, DC Sports makes a header for the Vibe/Matrix. Pay attention ...

Don't waste time on CAI get an SRI and they'll run with no issues. Boost Gauge is simple either basic Analogue Gauge or electronic. I HIGHLY suggest an AFR gauge. Yea it's $200 but if something it's working right it'll let you know ...
... a used sc on my 04 vibe base. I already bought the correct plugs and thermostat, and replaced the cone oil. Just wondering if you are running a cai, what setup is the best? Also, if you have a boost gauge, which one do you have and how do you wire it in? And what kind of mileage are you getting ...
... is when I test-fit them on a nice day last weekend. Soon to come is a Tein S-Tech drop, and a few odds & ends under the hood, T/B spacer, CAI, engine cover etc. Proud to own a vibe, and have a significant other with a vibe as well!

I guess what is confusing about running a CAI is because I got this off of this site: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=19315. Why does this come up if it doesn't work? maybe it works with the E-manage parts by Greddy that are listed there as well. I ...

... this seems to be happening, what difference would it make to the MAF (or computer) if the sensor was in the standard air intake tube or the larger CAI? That's the point: at start up it does NOT use the MAF sensor . It assumes it gets a breeze through the factory straw but it really gets a storm ...

... Resetting the computer will not help your situation because the preset data are not affected. Go back to a stock TB, my friend. You can try the CAI with the stock TB. If that does not work go back to the stock intake as well.
and added a CAI That could be the problem. I am not saying it is. If you still have the original snorkel put it in. Sometimes the airflow hits the MAF sensor different enough to fool the sensor. That's a thought. I had the throttle ...
Thank you so much! Now that she's getting old she will eventually turn into a project car. Before the CAI install the air filter wasnt changed for about 4 years! so up next may be the DC-Sport 4-2-1 header.

This K&N SRI will work on your Vibe. We have had K&N SRIs on both our 09 GTs for 6+ years now without issue. Personally, I'm leery of CAIs because of the risk of hydrolock, but if you truly want a CAI, any intake that fits an 09-16 Corolla should fit your Vibe.
