Re: '09 Trans fluid, T-IV versus WS

And gm dealership put 3 litres of t-iv in my 09 when it was still my company car. I talked to Toyota about it since I've bought the car. They told me it will be fine. They said the t-iv is a semisynthetic, and the ws is full. That was over a year ago, and all has been fine. I did a 3litre dump and f...

Re: 09 White Base 1.8L

I forgot to mention, the car has 117,000 kms on it. As soon as I bought it, I changed the coolant with Toyota SLL pink, and the transmission fluid with Toyota WS. Here a couple more pics of the added speakers. I just used a dremmel to cut holes in the sail panels for the front tweeters. http://i601....

Re: 09 White Base 1.8L

Thanks for the comments folks. In my 29 years at my job, I have had a lot of company cars. The Vibe has been the best, most reliable of the bunch. It was factory ordered with a roof rack. I dont know why? I never used it. Changing the steering wheel was not hard at all, nor changing the turn signal/...

09 White Base 1.8L

Hi All, this is my 09 Base. It was my company car that I received new Nov 09. I liked it so much, I bought it from work when the lease ended and they replaced it with a 13 Fusion. Since I purchased it, Ive added fog lights, variable wiper delay stock, Vibe GT leather steering wheel with audio contro...

Re: Location of the OnStar module in 2009 vibe? plan to repl

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for this? I would like to use the mirror mic for an aftermarket HU, and picking up the connection for it under the seat will be easier that running new wires up the windshield pillars.

Just get an ateq quickset, and do it yourself each season. Doesn't require much more than basic computer skills.

Re: Transmission fluid for 2010 Vibe

It takes ws fluid, I get my vibe serviced at the Toyota dealer. I had it to the gm dealer for a warranty water pump, and they put dexcool into it. I need to get that stuff out of it ASAP, and replace it with Toyota pink. Toyota definitely knows the drive train (and the rest of the car, imho) better ...

I really appreciate you documenting this so well, I plan on doing the same mod aswell. Do you have any tips or tricks for trimming the air bag cover?

Re: 09/10 turn signal stalk removal

Thanks for the help guys. Ive decided if I'm going to pull the steering wheel, I'm gonna do the audio mod too. So the ebay steering wheel, turn/wiper stalks, and clock spring all show shipped. So I will let you know how I make out with it all. I am not going to use the OEM HU, an after market with t...

Re: 2009 Pontiac Vibe

Hi Peacock, sure like the white Vibe, Where did you get the front chin spoiler? Did you remove the steering wheel to change the multifunction switch? I just bought a white 09 Vibe base, actually it was my company car, I've had it since new. Its the best company car I have ever had, and I've had lots...

09/10 turn signal stalk removal

Sorry for a double post, I asked this in the fog light discussion in the "great how to index", but it's kind of buried away. I am going to add fogs to my 09 base, and would like to use the existing wiring. I see alot of discussion about how to get to the relay location. But I can't find mu...

How do you change the turn signal/headlight stalk? Does the steering wheel have to be removed?
Thanks,
