I got mine professionally installed too - and pretty sure it was about the same price - actually just found the reciept - got mine at The Trailer Hitch Centre here in London - was $323.85 after taxes. That's hitch, wiring, drawbar, and ball. Oh - and the cute little rubber hitch plug of course.

Actually Wix filters are usually rated very highly as well - they are NOT made by Champion Labs. Still - I still say the $6 Denso's are the best combination of filtration, flow, and price.

I do believe that Toyota does NOT reccommend ethanol fuel for these engines (1zz at least). Don't have my manual handy, but I seem to remember a specific paragraph saying not to use it as the engine was not designed for it. *shrug* Kind of a moot point though, as pretty soon we'll all be using blend...

Not that I've used the block heater yet..... but if you put it on a timer, and have it switch on 2 hours before you need the car, its still nice and warm, and saves you some 6 hours or more of electricity.
