yeah, it's normally parked with the hatch to the east with the sunrise in the morning. i sanded it down with some 2000 grit sandpaper, then got some clear coat from the store and sprayed it, waiting to see the result now.

hey, so i saw this a while back, but just looked like it was fading out. now, a bit has chipped off and has water under it from raining today. anyone know the best way to fix it? it's on the lift gate, passenger side, just under the hatch glass.

possibly the easiest thing to do is to buy the Cosmo Racing cold air intake or shirt ram intake. either that or Injen. two really great brands. they can also have K&N filters on them.

as far as i know, he got gas at a BP knock-off or something in Raleigh. i cleared the code, and ran some seafoam with Sheetz premium gas.

locate the remote turn on wire like he said. i had the same problem, that's what it was. your radio isn't telling the speaker amp located under the passenger seat to turn on.

haha yeah. also, aside from the GXP concept, my vibe is the most exclusive, and most powerful to roll off the production line. being that no other year had 180 hp. kinda glad i didn't pull the handbrake doing that, i still need some tire after that lol

finally got the DRL/AUTO mod done. i can use just my fogs now, it's great! hahaOH!!!!!!!!!!! i just had to....proof a vibe can do a burnout with both wheels!!! revved it up to 6,000 and dropped clutch. 27 ft!

did it say they hydrolocked? those trucks have a snorkle for the intake and exhaust which lets them do that. they probably got stuck on another car or something.

well in reality, resting your hand on the shifter is bad practice, due to the little stresses it places on the cables, and thus the transmission. this kills the synchronizers which results in the car popping out of gear. so the best thing to do is to find another place to rest your hand... just a su...

yeah, it's a GM Daewoo joint venture. the engine is definitely GM considering every piece has GM stamped on it. the body is very similar to a Cobalt too.

ok I've gotten all the bent valves out... did a water test to check for the bad ones. 8 of 16 are bent, and have to be replaced. luckily the pistons took no damage so these are the only parts getting replaced. be lucky that our cars have a chain instead of a belt! if you have a car with a belt, get ...

haha yeah. it's got a GM 2.0L engine, similar to the cobalts engine. im thinkin it's a rebadged cobalt. I'm borrowing a valve spring compressor from school and getting my girlfriend to help me today so i can get the old valves out.

i got to thinkin, if i did anything with the wheels, i'd get a shiny black wheel kinda like this and just replace the ones already on there.with the roof rack, i could paint it all black and get the top spoiler, or remove the whole thing and get the caps with the spoiler or no spoiler.

there's something strange that has happened with the 03 GT's... supposed to come stock with the 17" alloys, but i got mine used with 16" steelies and hubcaps. it was also missing the rear GT badge... the side ones were still on.

the 03 vibes didn't ever come with the rocker panels. there was an optional upgrade to have the 04 panels installed on the 03. this is what i've come to figure from searching around on this site. considering mine doesn't have them and it's a 2 tone.

yeah, the hatchback part is great when you have a girlfriend... considering she likes the vibe over the yukon and firebird. it;s nice when it's raining and you just open the hatch, and you have a covered tailgate!

I don't think it has sensors for the T-tops cause i can take them out and lock the car. the hood doesn't have a sensor, but the hatch does.

Got the misfire fixed. had a random misfire in cyl. 6, turned out to be a bad plug wire and ignition module. replaced the ignition coil too for safe measure as i already had a new one.This is what i had to do to get to the dang plugs...
