Re: (jetmech727)

Sounds like the sound I had before I changed my belt tensioner. Have you checked that? I could hear it if I was standing in front of the engine while revving it up and listening to the passenger side. I figured it was the tensioner, so I swapped it out, and the sound is gone.

Re: (Lavalash)

New wheels and tires installed. The wheels are just a little lighter than stock, and you can really feel it! Not to mention it just looks better. The tires also feel really good, like you are stuck to the road. Turn in is waaaayyy better than my old Kumho ASXs. We will have to wait and see how they ...

Re: (cptnsolo77)

Yeah, I had started out looking at OZ Wheels, but I quickly started to look at cheaper alternatives. The Sport Editions are lighter than the stockers, and I think they look cool. And at $99 each, its a pretty good bargain. With the money saved from getting a higher end wheel, I can buy some Tokico H...

Re: (vibolista)

Haha! Yeah I should have jumped on here a long time ago, but I wasn't quite as enthusiastic about my car up until recently. Mainly because its mine, and she has been a trooper. and now that I have a bit more free cash than I used to, I would like to start upgrading a few things. Best thing to do whe...

Re: (houseofbugs)

Thanks! The headunit is a JVC KW-XG700. I got it off Amazon about two years ago for like $190, although it looks like the price has gone up a little. I wanted something that filled the double din area, but it also needed to have red lighting (all about the color matched lighting!). Link for the head...

Re: Hello Fellow Vibe Drivers (Lavalash)

Alright, well I shot 51 photos, but I can only seem to upload one per post? I took them with my cell phone, so the quality is kinda low, but this should give you an idea. My car is super super dirty! If this weekend is nice, I plan on giving her a bath. Does anyone know how to upload more than one p...

Base vs GT Front Brakes?

I searched here and at Matrix Owners, couldn't find the answer. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the front brakes on a Base vs GT? Obviously, the rears are different, but no one ever seems to talk about the front. I was looking at doing a brake upgrade, so I thought I would do some ...

Hello Fellow Vibe Drivers

Hi everyone! I am a long time lurker and long time Vibe owner. I have had my Vibe for almost 5 years. Longest I have ever hung on to a car! Anyway, now that the car is paid for and running pretty well (except for the belt tensioner... grrrr), I think its time to start modding a little bit. Right now...
