yep, clip the yellow wire under the steering wheel. It disables both DRL and the auto-on headlights which I also hate. I like being able to control my damn headights!!!!! >_<

I have 219,xxx on mine and it runs great. Not much to suggest in the way of maintenance. Keep the alignment straight, oil changes every 7500-10000 and repair anything that breaks sooner than later and the car should last you another 200k.

There isn't much you can do about the ride other than tires. the OEM struts are probably the softest your going to find & there aren't any "soft springs" i'm aware of on the market. the ride on our cars isn't due to lack of travel, it has more to do with how damn firm the stock springs...

The lift engagement on the 2ZZ is retarded IMVHO. Why they decided to make it 6200 (2003) 6400 (2004) 6800 (2005+) is beyond logic. Honda VTEC's engage between 5200-5800 depending on engine. If they lowered the engagement on the VVTLI to ~5500 it would make a hell of a difference in how useful it is...
