I am 57. I owned a Lexus Rx 300 that at 200,000 miles I got T-boned. I loved that car, but on research on what would be a great replacemtent to take my 4 pups around town? I decided on a 2003 Vibe that I could buy outright with the total loss on my Lexus. I still need you guys to tell me what I can ...
I am sorry if this has been discussed before, but here is what to me and Lucy today - Lucy is a 2003 basic with 90,000+ miles. Drove fine about 60 miles, parked, then went to start. Two things immediately noted: radio did not work - little red light by radio blinking - and then when I shifted (auto)...
I'd say a good deal too!!! - I looked and looked - very limited budget - I did end up with my sweet little base 2003, clean, new tires, all white, NOT all power, with 89 K for $5,300. Pleased as punch. Now to print off the mod lists and get going!
My Vibe is getting pretty mixed up.It's Toyota based, so it really doesn't know whether it wants to run away unexpectedly, stall, have a steering problem, not be able to brake or go extinct. this cracked me up I have a 2003 - with power nothing. Am I safe ????
fluids changed, new spark plugs and she is good to GOOOO! Brakes look terrif. Only other problem is the weather/rubber strip around driver side door (frame) opening - looks like someone tried to jimmy in the car from the side - rubber all torn up.
Did any of you find something that worked? I have had my Vibe for about two weeks and I am getting shocked every day when I leave the car. The dogs (so far) seem unaffected LOL
LOL - indeed - I am their driver!!But Vibe folks, I bought this pretty much on faith, and a carfax report. With 88,000 miles on this baby, what SHOULD I be asking my mechanic to take a look at?? Meaning, what weaknesses are their that I should be proactive about??
White - is that really the "frosty"? Pretty basic but then, that's me - basic! I have a big diesel truck - with a long bed - and I got tired driving that big momma around town. Here are the kids:thanks all - glad I found this forum!!!
yes, I was thinking about what kind of mat - and then of course the dog cushions LOL. I have a spaniel-bassett type, a corgi-beagle type, a totally who knows WHAT terrier type and one that is pretty true to a breed - a little Jack Russell with a bad underbite
After much research, I just bought myself a 2003 Vibe - not much done to it other than routine maintenance, 90k miles, clean and with new tires. Anything you all can tell me that I need to check/watch for? thanks!
