When I replaced my speakers I cut out some thin wooden rings made out of luan to fill the gaps and mount the speakers to. I put some silicon caulk on the back to make sure they sealed up good. They worked great and cost nothing to make. And I agree it does make a noticeable difference.

I'd recommend an aftermarket HU as well. If you stick with OE head unit get a converter, it sounds better than using the speaker level inputs.

I'd say that the engine seems to breath easier and I defenitely notice a slight pick-up from the stock filter when passing on a two way road. I'd say that the mileage hasn't changed at all I'm ...

Hey everyone, I'm about to order new summer rims and am looking at the Konig Incident 16". Anyone seen these rims on a Vibe? I'd love to get 17's or 18's but I'm not because I want to maintain a larger sidewall and smooth ride. Any opinions? Thanks!

I just put a Boss Bass1200 powered sub in my '09. It's a low profile powered sub that fits under the front passenger seat. Adds plenty of bass to the stock system... Nothing like a couple 12's but it's cheap, simple, and doesn't take up any cargo room!
