My Time to Say Goodbye

It’s my time to say farewell to GenVibe. I gave my ’09 GT to my daughter, who has joined the forum as Skylark. So it’s not goodbye to this Vibe! I just want to say that it has been a real pleasure to participate in this forum – I learned a great deal about my Vibe, and the members are so nice and co...

Re: Latest Recall - March 2017

I finally got the passenger air bag recall done, but only because I am giving my Vibe to my daughter. I got lucky, perhaps – they didn’t screw anything up. Except for a few small smudges that came right off, I wouldn’t have known that they did any such work. Everything fit back right and everything ...

GM - 6 Chevies and 3 Pontiacs (plus 1 VW, and 1 Ford ... gag me, it was a big mistake).

Toyota now, though - 2 RAV4s (bought the first one because of the Vibe, and the second one because of the first).

Unless you're short, I think it would be pretty tight. Front-rear length of the platform flat is 57 inches. You could get up to maybe 64-65 inches by lying diagonal. You can get more by letting the front seats all the way forward - maybe up to 74 inches, but that gives empty space between the platfo...
