Finally had access to the lift :D Changed oil and performed a thorough underbody inspection before nasty weather gets here. I'll comment on the canister/evap issue in that other thread. Looks like a fun project. I did power lock/window upgrades to several cars over the past 40 years and loved the challenge. All of them turned out great and you'd never know they were added ... looked stock! Take lots of photos and share the progress here with us as you go along!

yeah, I shared this photo in an earlier post where I got the notice also on my 2004 Vibe Gt. Found it interesting that when the first recall was done, they KNEW it was temporary until a better fix arrives :twisted:

I just verified that you do NOT have an AWD model (thanks for the factory sticker showing options & $$$) If you went by the brochure which was out at the time, it shows the 17" clad wheels & luggage rack being standard on AWD models. Rare to see both of them on a non-AWD Vibe.

Give us tome time to investigate and answer :o I own TWO 2009 vibe GT's (the bigger 2.4l engine) and have not had to work on the A/C system yet. I can tell you all about refrigeration pressures/temeperaturs BUT not sure on the A/C compressor arrangement. Be patient, you'll get an answer soon
