Re: (KEYTECHNIQUES)

Hey Dev I purchased keyhole covers from you a few years back over on 9thgencorolla.I purchased 3 and i'm still using the extra door one for my trunk hole since it was a little bigger. Even though it doesn't look that bad i've still been wondering if you will come back on 9thgen and offer trunk keyho...

Re: Making reverse light a fog light. (Whelan)

i've seen some members on 9thgencorolla actually put an HID kit in the reverse lights and to be honest it's bright enough with just one bulb on one side but you could essentially put both. I have my reverse lights tinted with 6/10 smoked vinyls from BlueBat and along with my window tint I can barely...

Re: What highway speed results in your best fuel economy? (gorgecat)

when I had my 1zz Corolla the best speed to maintain on the highway to achieve the best gas mileage was definitely 55mph ... it can get frustrating watching everyone cut you off or fly by you though so even driving around 65 is still being conservative and will yield great gas mileage. If you want tr...

Re: 04chargedvibe 2004 S/C (04chargedvibe)

Are you running the TRD ECU that comes with the supercharger fit kit? If so it runs really "rich" so i'm actually surprised that a CAI would throw a lean code like that. If you switch out to an E-Manage Blue or Ultimate or something similar you can probably avoid that issue but by then the...

Re: (BlueCrush)

I love my obx pedals and if they have them available for the vibe then def. get them. Too bad they don't sell a dead pedal to compliment the look but I bet someone could fabricate a similar pattern for a dead pedal.

Re: Safe to go thru drive thru car wash? (Vibe Ride)

I don't care what you have to do whether it's going outside with a hot bucket of water and washing your car but avoid these types of car washes at all costs!Don't even use the car washes that you have to drive your car onto a rail to go through because this can curb your wheels or side skirts. That ...

Re: Racing Pedals? (06pvibe)

When I had my auto 1zz Corolla OBX had a great set of pedals that I bought from the dealership and paid an arm and a leg for. I sold my auto 1zz and bought another set for my 2zz XRS and they are great. Even when it's wet out you still have a great amount of grip. OBX should make similar pedals for ...

Re: longest driven w/ gas warning light on? (star_deceiver)

when I had my 1zz Corolla I continued to drive around 45-50 miles once the gas light came on before I pulled over and got gas. If i'm driving to preserve gas i'll have cruise control on at 55mph but it's really difficult to keep that low of a speed esp. when everyone is flying buy you.

02 sensors can get pretty expensive to have to replace all the time. What was the exact C.E.L. code that you were running?

Re: (DrunkenDixie)

I've seen those Bonneville superchargers sell for dirt cheap on ebay. It's a shame it wouldn't bolt up because that would save people thousands lol. I see that you are an 05 and i'm not too familiar with the vibe but if it's similar to the 1zz corolla then in '05 they switched to DBW so you are runn...

Nice pictures, everything looks very clean and subtle. I've seen you post a few times over on 9thgencorolla.com my username on there is FallRiver_RollaS. I was one of the few 05+ supercharged 1ZZ and sold that and picked up a 2zz XRS.Do you have any future plans for the vibe? I thought when I got th...

Re: 04chargedvibe 2004 S/C (04chargedvibe)

Ditch the graphics and lower it a bit and it will look great. I really like those "Demon Eyes" too.Have you thought about adding a SRI or CAI to make that supercharger scream? I was running a blower on my 1zz Corolla and all I had was a SRI at first and the whine was so loud, Once I added ...
