fyi I tried the tape on the speaker, barely muffles it. Still beeping and annoying

I've done this before on my girlfriend's Grand Prix. Her car took one bulb for the display. I used a 12v 60mA bulb from Radio Shack. They come two to a package... My vibe had two bulbs out. I replaced all three with these radio shack bulbs.Pic of final:
