Apparently my 2009 GT was repaired for something like this before I purchased it. I got a repair history identifying a TSB for:Cracked/Broken Liftgate window.Ref TSB 09-08-48-004Not sure what the details are though.

Some more good news. Apparently the dealer wasn't supposed to tax the price before counting the $4500. So they called us up to re-do the paperwork and refunded us - sweet.Also got some wax on and took some pics:

But you also have to remember that your odometer is also reading too quickly meaning you're putting miles on quicker. Your warranty and overall value is therefore going away quicker.

GMS rebate is $4000 on the Vibe right now. Regular rebate is only $2500.

Sheesh, you in a rush or something?Congrats and welcome! Also, welcome to the cash for clunker club! If you're getting GMS pricing make sure you're also getting GMS rebates. My dealer tried to pull a fast one on me and give me the regular rebate, but I set them straight.

GM will be stopping production of the Vibe in August. So there will be very few around when they do start implementing rebates on 2010 vehicles.Chevy has the HHR for that segment. The Orlando is much larger than the Vibe.

For the tap shift topic, I'd say one instance where it could save some fuel is when wanting to accelerate but not wanting to downshift.
