well i finally got it fixed and it was the damn donut seal---seals from header to exhaust pipe flange before the cat----its sooooooooooo quiet now===like a new car and my gas mileage got better

is that the same one thats visible from the top of the motor,,wouldnt just propping open the hood be a lot easier than underneath or am i stll not getting it?sorry dude but i have the exact same problem and want it figured out

dude i got the same thing and my heat shield and exhaust is fine,,i replaced the serpentine belt thinking it was squeeling but nope no luck,,let me know what happens and mine happens at 2800 rpm also,,very weird

me toive also figured out that some lexus gen2/3 disks might work with our cars but nobody here will comfirm,,just use the site and never come back,,,if we have a gen2/3 system and i have a TOYOTA disk in my car right now i dont see why a lexus dvd with more current software wont work,,its just got to

i was reading up on the 9.1 update on ebay and i think you need the latest software before 9.1(so im guessing 8.1?)in order for it to work?,,dont get it though as the nav system doesnt have a harddrive and works solely on the dvd,,,,,,,,,,,anyways let me know,,,i heard of some guy using a toyota 6.1...

dude i had the same problem as you,,i ended buying a toyota map disc(2003 maps)and it worked fine!you can get them on ebay for like $20 -$30,,,,and the factory navigation is surprisingly good

hi folks need some helpi need to replace my rear back up light lens,,no not the bulb,,got a replacement from ebay but i dont know how to take out the old one?i bent back the one visible tab behind the bumber but the lens wont release,,,,,,,,help

folks im thinking its just the rust that collects on the rotors after it rains,,,stepp on the brakes a few times and the pads wipe the rust right off and then no more noise,,,happens to me everytime my rotors get wet,,sit...rust...next day they are noisy till the rust gets brake pedaled away

intake manifold gasket,,it happened to mine and it got very noticeable in the cold weather,,warm weather it was a lot better,,its very common on the 1zz motor,,its a very cheap fix

you have to use 91 or higher octane in your gt,,its a high compression motor and it also states this in the owner manual!!!!when i bought my used gt it had regular gas in it,,ran rough,,after 2 tanks of premium fuel it runs very smooth,,,,that pinging your getting is from the low octane,,the exact s...

just got my 03 vibe gt,,got new brakes all round but my parking brake aint working that great,,,it pulls all the way to the top,,how do they adjust???by going in reverse??by pulling the hand brake numerous times???or does it have to be manually adjusted at the rear caliper??thanks pete
