I believe the other numbers you noted are for the AWD Vibe/Matrix.
Thanks . Doesn't answer my question though.

Complete Steering Knuckle ASSEMBLY from Matrix?

Hello friends ; I have a 2008 Vibe 183K miles, Auto Trans, non-ABS brakes. I'm looking to swap out/in a complete steering knuckle/bearing/hub assembly on my front drivers side (this is a one-vehicle household, getting a ride from a neighbor to and back to the closest shop which could press bearings ...

Re: Choices : Control Arms, Ball joints, CV axle

@ vibrologist, @ cptnsolo77 : I just want yous to know, per your recommendations, I bought the Moog control arms. Yeah there's cheaper stuff out there, arm & ball-joint sets for under 80, but no-name, manuf'd in China, for a cabin filter, okay, but for braking or steering, I won't do. I work for...

Re: Choices : Control Arms, Ball joints, CV axle

@ cptnsolo77 : Thanks. I'm glad you responded and that you just did the drivers' side control arm last week. I haven't done any suspension jobs on this car yet, but have on others so I'm not afraid of it. I replaced motor mounts on a Saturn so I"ve jacked from below before. When you did Drivers...

Choices : Control Arms, Ball joints, CV axle

I'm shopping.... looking for input yes/no from those who used any of these brands.... I need to replace control arms and ball joints (perhaps tie rod ends also) on my 08 stock Vibe (w/ Auto Trans, 166 K miles). I just had to have replaced the drivers side drive axle (which failed on the road within ...

Tire Shopping?... Here's a deal (6-20-17)

Tire shopping ?... Looking to buy new ? ... I just put on a brand new pair of rubber up front and got a good tire (it appears) at a really good price so thought I'd share. I'll withhold the brand-name for a moment ... it's not Continental or MIchelin or Pirelli.... I never heard of these. And when I...

Just did my 08 today, w/ 75 K miles on the factory originals. As easy as any front pad job i've ever done. Note to novices reading this thread before doing a front-pad job for the first time -- one really MUST have that 6 to 8 inch C-clamp....or some other tool to compress the brake-piston back into...

Didn't have to pull the motor or resistor. Removed the connector, got in with my smallest file, crimped it w/ a needle-nose (without cracking the outer plastic), and that appartently was all that was needed. Fan runs at all speeds (so i expected already it wasn't that resistor issue that i've read a...

BLOWER FAN--INTERMITTENT & ERRATIC

08 Vibe, 48 K miles. Problem started about 3-4 months ago. With A/C on, motor cuts out and in intermittently. Needed a whack or two with a handy umbrella or something, and then it would continue on, then off, then on again with road bumps. Was okay for couple months. Acting up same way again, but no...

Blower Motor Touchy...

'08 Vibe, 40K miles. I've read thru all the postings which come up when you search 'blower motor.' I've read if the blower stays on w/ 'high' fan setting only that it's likely a bad resistor. This is different. This one will come on at the low or mid fan control setting, but when A/C switch is press...

Disabling Daytime Running Lights?...

Hello folks:I want to disable the (auto-on) daytime running lights on my 2008. (If I ever drive in Canada I can just turn them on manually--otherwise no reason to burn out a bulb prematurely). I expect several have done it already. How?... thanks, mike
